Hello! It’s me, Jenna Ryan, and I wanted to give answers to the most frequently asked questions that I hear from friendly, supportive people have about my January 6th experience. If you have any other questions I missed, feel free to email me at jennaryanrealty@gmail.com.

Did you go to prison?
1. Yes. I went to prison.
  1. How long did you go to prison?
    1. 60 Days - I was given 1 day for the day I was arraigned.
  2. When did you go to prison?
    1. Dec. 21-Feb. 17th 2022 - I went to prison early because I needed to get it over with so I could hurry up and get back to work. 2021 was an extreme financial drain on me and I was almost out of funds, so I decided to go to prison earlier than the January report date so I could get out faster and get back to work.
  3. Where did you go to prison?
    1. Bryan Texas Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas
  4. Did you go to real prison?
    1. No, I went to minimum security Federal Prison Camp so there were no bars or barbed wire, however, due to COVID, the conditions were extremely harsh with 24/7 lockdown, no phones, no commissary, no rec and no sunlight.
    2. Note: The DC Courts are now putting people who were charged with Misdemeanors in Maximum Security Prison for 60 days (ie: Grandma Pam Hemphill)
Did you lose your real estate license?
1. No. I did not lose my real estate license and there were no repercussions whatsoever from the Texas Real Estate Commission for being present at the Capitol. I was able to sell homes during 2021 and actually closed on a house when I was in prison (through the assistance of a broker friend).
What were you charged with?
1. I was charged with 4 different crimes, all regarding the same thing. I walked into the Capitol for 2 minutes and 8 seconds, standing next to a friendly cop. Turned around and walked out.
2. I took a plea deal to the charge of “Parading, Picketing & Protesting.”
3. According to the Judge, who quoted the Probation Report which was not contested by the Prosecutor, I was declared to have a “non-violent, minimal role” in the January 6th events. Judge Christopher Cooper stated that “the least of all Capitol Riot Defendants, I walked into the Capitol for 2 mins 8 seconds, unimpeded and did not commit violence, nor did I witness violence.” (See also sentencing transcript)

Has this situation hurt your business?
1. Yes, this situation has destroyed my business and my reputation. It’s not so much the actual event, as the media onslaught that occured after the event that harmed my business.
2. The negative media posts and lies written about me, and trolls attacking me online has negatively impacted my business because it makes people who don’t know me think I’m some kind of a monster, which is untrue.
3. Even though my business has been negatively impacted, it has not stopped me from working even harder, therefore, I am still able to earn a living selling real estate.

How are you holding up?
1. I am holding up as well as can be expected. I’ve been harmed to the extreme degree and had my reputation destroyed publicly, however, I’m doing as good as I can do.
2. Inside my heart I’m happy and strong, though I have some PTSD related to the trauma of being attacked by the government, FBI, the media, big tech and internet trolls.
3. I am thankful that the media has stopped reporting negative articles and news hit-pieces about me.
4. My mom passed away during the middle of this debacle, so that was very painful and I miss her so much.
Are you writing a book?
1. Yes I am writing a book. I have a few aspects of the event that are still ongoing, and eventually, once the story is complete, I will publish a book about my experience.
What types of things are you doing now that this is all over?
1. I am concentrating on selling real estate at this time in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I help buyers and sellers. I am a real estate broker at First Place Real Estate.
2. I am in litigation with various entities, but I cannot discuss this.
3. I have started a new News Channel called “Texas News Talk” which includes a weekly podcast, website and social media channels for sharing news about Texas that I think it’s important for people to know; and that is not mainstram hype narrative. It’s just getting started, and I’ll share more about that as we get more situated.
4. I am slowly but surely starting to work on my SelfLoveU YouTube channel again, although that is still difficult.
What happened to the people who went to the capitol with you?
1. The guy who owned the private jet was sentenced to one week in jail. The other girl who went into the capitol with me is set to plead guilty. I will not use their names in print out of respect for their privacy.
Did the FBI Raid your house?
1. Yes, the FBI raided my home and it was plastered all over the news (in case you missed it). They took my computers, my phones and my MAGA Hat. I have since retrieved all of my property.

Those are the only questions I can think of right now that will bring you up-to-date. I will write more posts about the actual event, and the experiences I’ve encountered as a result of that terrible day, January 6, 2021.
